Appointments & Cancellations

Our staff is available to schedule appointments Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

We kindly request that patients arrive 15 minutes early to the scheduled appointment to update medical records. Please remember to bring all insurance cards, driver’s license or valid photo ID, completed patient paperwork, and copayment. It is helpful to have a list of any medical prescriptions prepared to expedite the visit.

Please create the patient portal and complete the online forms prior to your visit. If you are unable to fill them out ahead of time, plan to arrive 30 minutes early to allow time to complete them in office.

We ask patients to notify our office at least 24 hours prior to canceling or rescheduling an appointment. If we are not notified 24 hours in advance, there may be a cancellation fee.

If a patient arrives late by more than 15 minutes to the appointment, we may need to reschedule.

To expedite prescription refills, we request that the pharmacy send refill requests electronically. Allow 24 hours for any prescription refills/questions to be answered Monday through Thursday. Requests received on Fridays will be answered the following Monday.

Ultrasound Preparation

We recommend wearing a 2-piece outfit for any ultrasound. The abdominal area is exposed for the ultrasound so wearing a dress is not as conducive since it will need to be pushed above the abdomen underneath the sheet that is provided.

Eat normally per any prescribed diet. If a patient arrives late by more than 15 minutes to the ultrasound, we may need to reschedule.

In the event a clear image cannot be obtained with a transabdominal ultrasound, a transvaginal ultrasound may be performed. This can apply to any type of ultrasounds but becomes less likely after 24 weeks.

Ultrasound images will be texted via SonoSync and can be downloaded to any device or social media platform.

First Trimester or Nuchal Translucency Ultrasounds

Depending on indications, either a First Trimester or a Nuchal Translucency ultrasound may be needed. For either type of ultrasound, please prepare by having a full bladder. Drink 16 to 24 ounces of water within an hour of the scheduled appointment.

Biophysical Profile (BPP)

Please eat within an hour of the scheduled appointment to maximize fetal movement.
